How the check works

  1. Pick the brand and the format you were quoted for.
  2. Type each figure from the quote. Leave out what it did not mention.
  3. Each line is matched with our figure; within 10% counts as a match.
  4. Every gap becomes a question you can send to the brand.

Questions people ask

What does a franchise quote in India usually leave out?

Sales teams usually mention the franchise fee and fit-out cost. What often gets left out: the security deposit, working capital, monthly royalty and marketing-fund payments, plus the renewal fee due at the end of the term. 126 of the 229 brands we track list a security deposit.

Is the franchise security deposit refundable?

Often, but not in every case. Some brands retain a portion, while others label a non-refundable charge as a deposit. Get the brand to state in writing exactly what will be returned and when.

Does a brand's investment figure include the franchise fee?

It varies by brand. Some state a single total that includes both the fee and fit-out, while others break out every expense. The checker displays an all-in number only when we have confirmed what that number covers. We have confirmed it for 17 of 336 formats so far.

How reliable are the figures in the quote checker?

Each number is labelled by source tier: S1 means the brand published the terms itself, while S7 means it is estimated. Data from aggregators, estimates, or sources without a record is presented only as a broad reference and never as evidence that a quoted figure is incorrect. 91 of the 1259 figures carry an S1 or S2 source; 966 are a rough guide only.

Does FRANticc store the quote I enter?

No. The check runs entirely in your browser, and none of what you enter is stored. A share link includes only the amounts, never your name or contact details.

What should I do if my quote differs from published terms?

Before paying anything, ask the brand to explain every difference. A gap does not automatically mean wrongdoing: costs can vary by city, site size and format. The checker converts each gap into a clear question you can submit through the brand's enquiry form.

Is the quote checker free?

Yes, it is for everyone. FRANticc neither sells franchises nor earns commission from brands.
